30-Year Work Anniversary

On February 6, 2025, Bernd Netzer celebrated his 30-year work anniversary. We are truly delighted that Bernd has been a valued member of our team for so many years. Together with his family, we celebrated this special occasion at Gasthaus Krone in Hittisau. Bernd started his career with us in 1995 as an electrician. Since 2020, he has been working in our internal sales department for Schneider Electric and Telemecanique Sensors components.

A Creative Evening with Our Customers

This year, we once again had the pleasure of sharing a very special event with our customers – a pottery workshop full of creativity, hands-on fun, and inspiring moments!

Everyone had the chance to create a unique piece of art. Alongside the creative work, there was plenty of time to relax and enjoy each other’s company: great conversations, shared laughter, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Honoring Our Team at the Christmas Celebration At this year’s Christmas celebration, we had the pleasure of recognizing four employees for a combined total of 70 years of service. Christof Geiger – 30 years, Barbara Mayer – 15 years, Zorica Umjenovic – 15 years, and Walter Hieble-Gruber – 10 years. We sincerely thank each of them for their outstanding dedication and loyalty, and we look forward to a successful future together.

Heartwarming Donation

This year, once again, the Schwarzach-based family business Walter Böhler Steuerungen has made a generous donation to Vorarlberger Kinderdorf. This time, the children can look forward to receiving warm gloves and brand-new ice skates.

Supporting the Kinderdorf before Christmas has become a cherished tradition for Walter Böhler Steuerungen. For over 40 years, the entire family has put creativity and heart into producing greeting and sympathy cards, which are sold in selected garden centers to raise funds. Julia Brunner-Böhler personally visited the Vorarlberger Kinderdorf in Kronhalde to hand over the generous donation of €3,000.

“It brings us great joy to support the valuable work of the Kinderdorf and to help create special experiences for the children,” said the socially committed entrepreneur. The donation will be used, among other things, to provide the children and young people in the family-style residential group “Fawo 13” at Kronhalde with warm gloves, brand-new ice skates, and bicycle accessories. Thank you for this heartwarming support!

Together with his large family, we celebrated this special occasion at Gasthaus Krone in Hittisau! Christof started his career with us in 1994 as a CAD planner and is particularly known for his versatility.

Aluminium Trade Fair in Düsseldorf

As in previous years, we were once again present with a stand at the Aluminium trade fair in Düsseldorf.

Over the course of the three exhibition days, we had the opportunity to engage with both long-time customers and partners as well as new prospects, discussing industry trends and the latest solutions in automation and process control technology. A big thank you to all the visitors!

A Change of Plans Due to Weather Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate on our planned hiking day, so we quickly adapted and enjoyed a cozy evening at Gasthof Taube instead. Instead of the hike, we had delicious food and spent a wonderful time together.

A Great Evening!
Last Friday, we gathered at Funworld in Hard for a delicious dinner. Afterwards, we showed off our bowling skills!

After the Forced COVID Break, We Were Finally Able to Hold Our Company Event Again This year, we were able to host our company event once again after the mandatory COVID pause. Together with prominent clients, we hiked through a heavy snowstorm at Bödele, starting from the Fetz parking lot, across Fohramoos, all the way to the Meierei. There, we enjoyed a hearty serving of Kässpätzle together. It was a lovely and cozy evening!

Safety Is Important to Us! That’s why we regularly offer first aid courses for our employees and their families. After successfully completing the refresher course, 20% of our employees are now trained first responders.

Getting into the Christmas Spirit On December 23, 2022, we made our way to Bregenz for the Ö3 Christmas Miracle. There, we made our donation to Licht ins Dunkel at the Wish Hut and enjoyed a warm mulled wine!

This year, we are supporting a family at the Vorarlberger Kinderdorf.

So that helping turns into children's laughter.

25th Anniversary at the Company

On November 3, 2022, Andreas Hofrichter celebrated his 25th work anniversary. We are incredibly happy that Andreas has been such an integral part of our team for so many years. Together with his wife Bettina, we celebrated this special occasion at Gasthaus Krone in Hittisau!

After a Long Dry Spell, the Who’s Who of the Aluminum Industry Finally Met Again at the Aluminium Fair in Düsseldorf in Late September.

We were very happy to reconnect in person with many of our customers.

We look forward to more interesting discussions on the topic of ENERGY MANAGEMENT at the customer workshop on November 15, 2022, at our premises.

Company Hiking Day 2022

Although the weather could have been more favorable, we hiked from Gaissau through the pristine Rheinholz forest to the mouth of the old Rhine during our company hiking day this year.

Equipped for any weather, we hiked from there along the lake shore, over the Polderdamm, to the Glashaus in Höchst. To conclude the day, we enjoyed Kässknöpfle, pizza, and a delicious dessert!

Company Hiking Day 2021

On our company hiking day this year, the bus took us, under perfect autumn weather, to the Jägeralpe stop in Warth.

From there, we hiked along the "Jägersteig" trail through the beautiful alpine flora to the natural gem, Körbersee.

At the mountain hotel, a portion of savory Kässpätzle with salad awaited us as a hearty meal. After a cozy lunch and great time together, we made our way back from the "most beautiful spot in Austria" to Saloberkopf, where the bus took us back to Schwarzach.

Workshop: Challenges of the Energy Transition

Looking Ahead, we addressed the current topic of "Energy" and, on October 5, 2021, were able to host a workshop on the energy transition in partnership with our long-time partner, Schneider Electric.
The range of presentations covered topics from the challenges of getting started, to energy data collection, supporting software packages, and the introduction of suitable hardware components.
As usual, participants had the opportunity to ask questions to the speakers during breaks and after the workshop. We concluded the event with some delicious rolls.
