Dear business partner,
in compliance with the new legal regulations in connection with the General Data Protection Regulation, we comply with our extended information obligation and inform you below about the data processing carried out by us.
The data processing takes place as part of our business relationship and is based on the data you voluntarily provide.
We would like to point out that this involves data processing that we have already carried out in the past and that there will therefore be no changes to our business relationship.
1. General data processing within the scope of the business relationship
The data is processed and transmitted for processing of inquiries, preparation of offers and processing of orders. The data is processed and transmitted in compliance with record keeping requirements, obligations for information and reporting insofar as this is required by laws or norms of collective legal organization or obligations, including text documents created and archived using automated means (such as correspondence) in these matters.
2. Data categories processed
The personal data relevant in each individual case is processed on the basis of legal provisions, contractual obligations (e.g. delivery contract), our legitimate interest in smooth business operations or your consent and includes the following data categories:
- Company name
- Occupation/job title
- Company register number
- Business address and other addresses of the customer/supplier
- Business contact details (telephone number, fax number, email address, work cell phone numbers, etc.)
- Private contact details (telephone number, fax number, email address, work mobile phone numbers, etc.) if disclosed when contacting us
- Bank details
- Order details
- UID number
- Service requests
The data you provide is also necessary to fulfill the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures. Without this data we cannot conclude or fulfill the contract with you.
3 Purpose of data processing
You have voluntarily provided us with data about yourself and we process this data for the following purposes:
- Customer/supplier support
- Correspondence regarding inquiries, offers and orders
- for our own advertising purposes (e.g. sending advertising brochures and newsletters, invitations to workshops, trade fairs and other events organized by us)
- as well as for the purpose of pointing out the existing or previous business relationship with the customer/supplier (reference note).
4. Way of data processing
Data processing and correspondence with you can take place in both paper and electronic form.
5. Transfer of data to third parties
If it becomes necessary in the course of a specific business case, we will also forward your contact details to our partners in individual cases. This is done out of our legitimate interest in ensuring that our business runs smoothly. If you do not want this for valid reasons, you can object to publication.
6. Data processing in the event of legal disputes
If a legal dispute arises during an ongoing business relationship or after termination, the data necessary for appropriate legal prosecution will be transmitted to legal representatives and courts.
7. Publication of photos on the company website and in the company brochure
In the course of the general work process (e.g. assembly, trade fairs, etc.) and company events (e.g. workshops, etc.) photos of representatives of customers and suppliers and their guests (e.g. representatives of customers and suppliers not registered with us) might be taken.
These photos are used for documentation in the internal company archive. Furthermore, these photos are used in individual cases to illustrate the company website and the company brochure and, if necessary, published.
By participating in these events, the person concerned gives their consent and their guests' consent to the free use of the photos and the publications described above.
Furthermore, the representative of the customers or suppliers invited by us undertakes to inform his guests of this agreement.
8. Processing of voluntary information – consent
All consents can be revoked independently of one another at any time. A revocation will mean that we will no longer process your data for the purposes mentioned above from this point onwards. To revoke your consent, please use the contact details listed below.
9. Storage period
We store your data at least within the scope of the statutory retention requirements or until revoked.
10. Your Rights
In principle, you have the rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability and objection. For this please contact us. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, please contact us.
